A twist on the traditional dessert, this treat is perfect anytime of the year!

Who doesn't love a banana split? How about pairing it with The Ultimate Charcuterie Split!


Replacing the banana split dessert ingredients with items that you would use to make a charcuterie board, this is sure to be a hit with family and friends.

The Charcuterie Split recipe


Prep Time: 15 mins

Total Time: 5 mins


Ingredients:

French baguette

Salami rounds

Burrata cheese

Olives

Small Cucumber

Red Pepper

Olive Oil

Hummus

Basil sprigs

Balsamic Glaze (not shown)


Ice cream boat or a small oval baking dish!



Let's Begin...


Step 1. Using your ice cream boat or small oval baking dish as a guide to measuring the size of your baguette. Slice your baguette just slightly smaller than the inside of your dish.

Step 2. Turning your baguette on its side, slice in half.


Step 3. Slice your small cucumbers, dice your red pepper and chop your olives.


Step 4. Make a salami rose. You can see my step-by-step instructions on my blog under 'Food Prep' - Salami Roses!


With all your items prepped, if you are hosting a party why not build a Charcuterie Split bar!


Step 5. Put your two pieces of french baguette into your dish, as shown.

Step 6. Scoop out your burrata cheese and place it in the center of your baguette.


Step 7. Add your salami rose.

Step 8. Fill in with cucumber and red pepper slices.


Step 9. Add a hummus swirl on top of your cucumbers and red peppers.

Step 10. Sprinkle your chopped up olives all over your burrata cheese.


Step 11. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic glaze all over your charcuterie split.

Step 12. Add sprigs of basil and top off with a cherry tomato!
